Colin Gilbert for Arlington Heights Village Trustee

Colin Gilbert has proudly served the Arlington Heights community for nearly two decades through public service, volunteerism, and leadership. His commitment to residents and businesses is to help ensure the community continues to be a premier place to live, work, and raise a family – and the charm that makes our neighborhoods so special is protected through thoughtful and responsible future development.
Colin is currently serving as a Trustee on the Arlington Heights Village Board after being appointed in October of 2025. He has been a practicing attorney for more than 20 years and is a founding partner of a local law firm, as well as a founding Board Member of Gerry’s Cafe, a community-focused coffee house that provides meaningful employment opportunities to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
His previous community leadership roles include:
- Commissioner: Village of Arlington Heights Special Events Commission
- President: Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce
- Executive Board Member: Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce
- Business Owner: Tuscan Market (2015-2021)

In addition to serving as a Village Trustee, Colin is a strong supporter of youth athletics and currently serves as:
- Board Member: Arlington Heights Youth Athletic Association
- Board Member: John Hersey High School Athletic Feeder Association
- Commissioner: Arlington Cardinals Travel Baseball
